The seal is not firm
Loose sealing is one of the common faults of continuous sealing machine, which has three meanings: ① the sealing place of packaging bag cannot be sealed; (2) Under the pressure of sealing knife, although the bag mouth is sealed, the seal will crack again if it is squeezed or peeled off slightly; (3) When peeling test was carried out on the sealing part, half of the sealing parts were firmly sealed and half of them were separated, so the sealing quality of the packaging bag was still unqualified, because the contents were easily missed by extrusion during storage and transportation. This situation often occurs when the composite lining is OPP or blow-molded PE.
The reasons for the first type of failure are mainly as follows.
(1) the heat sealing temperature is not enough
Usually, when the total thickness of the composite bag with OPP as lining is 80 ~ 90μ m, the heat sealing temperature should reach 170 ~ 180℃. When the total thickness of composite bag with PE as lining is 85 ~ 100μ m, the temperature should be controlled at 180 ~ 200℃. As long as the total thickness of bags is increased, the heat sealing temperature must be increased accordingly.
(2) The heat sealing speed is too fast
Whether it is easy to seal is also related to the speed of the sealing machine. (3) The pressure of cold-pressed rubber tire is not appropriate
There is one cold-pressed rubber tire above and below, and the pressure between them should be moderate. When adjusting the pressure, just clamp the spring.
(4) There is something wrong with the quality of the heat-sealed film.
Failure to seal the seal is also related to the quality of the heat-sealed film. If the corona treatment of the composite lining is uneven and the effect is not good, and it happens to appear at the seal, it will definitely not be sealed. This situation is rare, but once it appears, the product will be scrapped. Therefore, in the color printing and packaging industry, it is the next working procedure that supervises the last working procedure. As soon as quality problems are discovered, the causes must be analyzed and solved in time. If there is moisture and dirt at the seal, it will also cause the seal to be unstable.
In a word, to solve the first problem of weak sealing, we can generally increase the heat sealing temperature appropriately, then reduce the heat sealing speed, and at the same time increase the pressure of the cold pressing rubber tire.
The main reasons leading to the second type of sealing failure are as follows.
(1) the heat sealing temperature is not enough
The problem can be solved by properly increasing the heat sealing temperature.
(2) The blade surface of the heat sealing knife is not flat enough.
The heat sealing knife is divided into an upper piece and a lower piece, and usually a thermocouple is installed in it to sense the temperature transfer. There are three screws on the heat sealing knife, the middle screw plays the role of supporting and strengthening the blade, and the other two screws are equipped with pressure springs and gaskets, which are mainly used to adjust the pressure of the heat sealing knife. The upper and lower blades have two springs respectively. The main reason for the uneven surface of the heat sealing knife is that the middle screw is installed obliquely, not horizontally; Or the pressure of the pressure spring of the upper heat sealing knife is uneven.

Sealing machine is a kind of heat sealing equipment suitable for small enterprises and families. Usually, 220V AC power supply is used, and the heating power is several hundred watts. Circuit principle
See the attached figure for the circuit. The nominal heating power of this machine is 350W, and the maximum sealing length is 200mm. It has an operating handle, which has two functions: one is to press the plastic bag to be sealed on the heating strip after pressing the operating handle, and the other is to press the power switch K to close it. When the switch K is closed, the AC power is stepped down by R1 and R2, rectified by diode D1, and filtered by capacitor C1 to provide working power for this machine. This power supply charges C2 via R4 and VR. At the initial stage of charging, the voltage on C2 is very small, the transistor Q is turned off, and its collector is at a high level. Through the resistor R6 and the LED, the bidirectional thyristor SCR is triggered, and the transformer T is electrified. The second is to supply power to the heating element RL, and the plastic bag pressed on RL is heated and sealed. When the transistor Q is turned on due to C2 charging, and the collector voltage is not enough to trigger the SCR, RL stops heating, lifts the handle, takes out the plastic bag, and the sealing is completed. When the handle is lifted and the switch K is turned off, C2 will discharge rapidly through D2 and R3, so as to prepare for the first charge. Light-emitting tube LED is used to indicate when RL is powered on. Maintenance example
The common fault causes of this machine are transformer burning, thyristor damage, heating bar fracture and so on. Example 1: When the handle is pressed, the switch K is closed, and the RL is electrified and heated continuously, and finally the sealing part of the plastic bag is heated and fused; During the repair, the SCR was soldered and measured with a multimeter, and it was found that the electrode between T1 and T2 had been broken down. It can be repaired after replacing the SCR. Silicon controlled rectifier is 3A/600V, such as TLC336A. Example 2: BL cannot heat the seal after pressing the handle. Open the shell and visually find that the transformer has burned out, and the primary coil of the measuring transformer has been broken. At this time, it can be repaired by replacing it with a transformer with a secondary voltage of about 25V and the same power as the original one. The transformer works intermittently, so its power capacity is about 350W. If the temperature is too high, or the continuous use time is too long, it may lead to transformer damage, which should be paid attention to in use.
